The use of innovative hi-tech materials and sophisticated construction transform the iconic sailor oilskin into a winter jacket that is as versatile and high-performance as it is warm and light to wear. The Winter Floating Storm Jkt features essential styling counterpointed by visually striking elements such as patch pockets and black soft touch buttons. The internal taping system and Stratofabric#3 membrane fabric, featuring the super-matte look of the exclusive SURFLEX® outer, make the garment breathable and agile. At the front, the flap conceals the double-slider zipper; this goes up to close the wrap-around hood, which features a front peak and drawstring adjustment. Bellows pockets with magnetic closures are flanked by additional side pockets, equipped with invisible zippers. The 90/10 duck down filling is contained in the heat-sealed "square" tubing of the Floating Shield system, which ensures a perfect fit. The interior features an invisible zippered breast pocket, embellished with fluorescent orange double welt and the iconic "Made with love, designed in Tuscany" heart tag. Stratofabric#3 || SMSl (Surflex/Membrane/SurflexLight) SURFLEX® fabrics carry indelible qualities: patented authenticity for innovative construction and manufacturing process and certified sustainability. It is a technical fabric with a super opaque appearance reminiscent of more traditional textures: it is compact, soft and versatile ideal for making elegant, easy care, super stretch and non-iron garments. It is made from a 100% recycled polyamide yarn from pre- and post-consumer waste that is recovered and regenerated to become new raw material but without affecting non-renewable energy sources: fishing nets recovered and cleaned through a sophisticated physical-chemical breakdown process are regenerated into new, totally recycled yarn.
