The Ashby is a refined and practical jacket suitable for all seasons. Made of Sylkoil waxed cotton ( 203 g/m2), Barbour's signature fabric, the garment features a matte finish for a comfortable "lived-in" style. Slightly more fitted than the Bedale, this model features a comfortable cut that allows it to be worn under other clothing during the cold season. In keeping with tradition and in true Barbour style, the model boasts a windproof closure with sturdy snap buttons, a fine corduroy collar with a chin strap under the chin, slanted handwarmer pockets, and two large bellows pockets. Making this practical jacket even more versatile and ideal for everyday, all-season use are Barbour's convenient front zipper and optional inner zipper liners.
